Madame Florette Kanyinda

Born and raised in Mbandaka, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Madame Florette Kanyinda is an American citizen originally from the DRC. She holds a master’s degree in International Development from Northwestern University and has professional experience as a Recruiting Coordinator at Amazon and working with Mother Africa. She started Elikya at 27 years old.

With a deep passion for education and cultural exchange, Florette believes that learning across cultures creates opportunities for mutual understanding, personal growth, and global connection. Through Elikya International Services, she is dedicated to helping families explore cross-cultural educational experiences that allow children to discover new perspectives, share their own cultural heritage, and learn from one another.

Her vision is to make education a bridge between cultures, empowering children and families to appreciate the richness of different traditions, knowledge systems, and experiences. She believes every culture has something valuable to teach, and that meaningful educational exchange benefits everyone involved.
